Every five years Sonoma County updates its “Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan” (MJHMP). The last one was completed in 2021, and work is underway on the 2026 update. This will be a long and detailed project running through most of 2025. What is the MJHMP? Sonoma County has assembled a team to update the MJHMP, which addresses hazards that impact our county and municipalities. Part of the initial process is to gather information from county residents to help gain perspective. This survey is designed to gather information from the community to help us better coordinate activities and reduce the risk to the people, environment, economy, and infrastructure of Sonoma County.
